Whilst Reiki is a serious and deeply spiritual subject and is taught with great integrity and experience, a laugh or a giggle is never far away.

All our Reiki courses are taught by Elaine Orrett who is a full time holistic practitioner using Reiki on a daily basis. This brings a wealth of experience and commitment to the courses. Whilst Reiki is a serious and deeply spiritual subject and is taught with great integrity and experience, a laugh or a giggle is never far away, and the weekends are a lot of fun!

Some Reiki Masters combine First and Second Degree training in one weekend. At the UK School of Holistic Therapies we believe that it is preferable to experience the Reiki energy at each particular level so that the attunement into the next Degree can be fully appreciated for the uplifting experience that it truly is. You are never too young or too old to learn Reiki !

Reiki First Degree Training

Enabling you to become a practitioner of Reiki - a gentle hands on therapy which can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies such as Aromatherapy, Reflexology etc. using the life force energy on yourself, others, plants and animals. The course lasts 2 days, usually over a weekend. Please bring a packed lunch on both days.

Reiki Second Degree Training

Enables you to use the ancient Reiki Symbols for Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual Healing of yourself and others - including Distance Healing and Past and Future Healing. It also enhances the energy of your hands on healing. The course lasts 2 days, usually over a weekend. Please bring a packed lunch on both days.

Includes Amplified Reiki Attunements, Practitioner Manual, Handouts & Certificate. Applicants must have previously attended Reiki Level 1 Training

Reiki Master Training

Tuition is available by arrangement, usually in small groups or one-to-one. The course is over 2 days. Students must have attained their Second Degree Reiki. Please bring a packed lunch on both days.

Enables you to teach and attune others to all Degrees of Reiki. It includes 2 Master/Teacher Attunements, the Master/Teacher Symbols, a Master/Teacher Manual and Certificate.
Course Fee £350

We will also run Courses in your area for a 6 or more people.

Holistic Healing for Horses

This course will be run by Elaine Orrett and Caroline Griffith.

Designed for horse owners or those wishing to work with horses. This course incorporates First Degree Reiki with other methods of vibrational medicine to bring holistic healing to horses and is based on Elaine Orrett’s work with horses (as featured in the national press and Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour). The course duration is 2 days (usually Saturday and Sunday) with the opportunity to practise hands-on healing on horses.

We will visit a local stable to practise on the horses, as we find it is quite difficult to get them to lie on the treatment tables for long enough!!! Please bring a packed lunch.
